Patroon omslagdoek schuine streep

Afgelopen zomer maakte ik deze omslagdoek waar ik al heel veel plezier aan heb gehad. Ik vind het heel leuk om te zien hoe de schuine strepen uitpakken en ga dit patroon zeker ook nog in andere kleuren gaan haken.Te leuk  dus, om het patroon niet met jullie te delen.

Benodigdheden:

Lang Yarns Fifty:

- 5 bollen in roze 963.0009

- 1 bol oker 963.0011

- 1 bol rood/bruin 963.0063

Haaknaald 5,0 en 4,0 mm

Werkwijze

Zet met haaknaald 5,0 mm met roze 201 lossen op of een andere veelvoud van 4 + 5 lossen (de lossenketting is dan circa 105 cm lang: dit is niet de breedte van de sjaal, maar één van de twee schuine kanten van je omslagdoek).
Ga hierna verder met haaknaald 4,0 mm. 

1. Haak 3 stokjes (stk) in de 5e losse vanaf de naald * sla 3 losse over, vaste (v) in volgende l, 3 lossen, 3 stk in zelfde losse als voorgaande v *. Herhaal *-*. Eindig door 3 lossen over te slaan en een v te haken in de laatste losse. Keer je werk
2. 3 lossen, v om de 3 lossenlus bij het groepje met stokjes, * 3 lossen, 3 stokjes om dezelfde lossen als je zojuist de vaste haakte, v in de volgende 3 lossenlus *. Herhaal *-*  De laatste vaste van de toer haak je om de 4 beginlossen van de vorige toer.
3. 4 lossen, 3 stokjes in de eerste losse van deze 4 beginlossen, * v in de volgende 3lossenlus, 3 lossen, 3 stk om dezelfde l-lus *. Eindig met een v in de volgende lossenlus.

Blijf toer 2 en 3 herhalen tot je een groepje met 3 stokjes overhoudt en haak dan nog één laatste toer met ook 3 stokjes (zie ook de tekening. Je eindigt dus met 2x een toer met één groepje van 3 stokjes). 

KLEURWISSEL: Toer 1 t/m 3 haak je met roze. Toer 4 met okergeel. Hierna haak je steeds 5 toeren roze en 1 toer okergeel.

RAND:

Hecht met rood/bruin aan op een willekeurige plek van de lange kant van de sjaal. 

Toer 1

Rechte kant: Haak steeds 2 v bij de lossenlus en 1 v in iedere v. Op de hoek haak je 3 vasten. 

Op de korte schuine kant: 2 v in de overgeslagen lossen van je opzetlossenketting en 1 vaste in de losse waar 3 stokjes in zitten. Op de hoek 3 vasten.

Op de tweede korte schuine kant: v in de basis van een groepje van 3 stokjes en 2 v om de beginlossen van de toeren. Op de hoek 3 vasten.

Haak de rest van de rechte kant tot het punt waar je begonnen bent.

Toer 2

v in iedere v. Op de hoeken haak je 3 vasten in een vaste. Sluit met een halve vaste en hecht af.

Toer 3

Haak opnieuw aan met bruin/rood in de linker bovenhoek van de sjaal met een vaste. * 3 lossen, 3 stokjes in de vaste die je zojuist gehaakt hebt, sla 3 v over, v in de volgende v*. Herhaal *-*. Bij de punt aan de onderkant van de sjaal sla je 3x geen 3 vasten over, maar slechts 1 v. Haak zo dit laatste randje aan de twee schuine kanten. Hecht af.

Last summer I made this crochet shawl and I've already worn it a lot. I love the effect of the slanted stripes. I think more versions of this shawl will follow soon ;-). In this blogpost I would like to share this pattern with you.

Materials:

Lang Yarns Fifty:

- 5 balls in pink 963.0009

- 1 ball ochre 963.0011

- 1 ball red/brown 963.0063

Hooksize 5.0 (H) and 4.0 (F) mm. 

Working method

Chain 201 in pink with hooksize 5.0 mm (H) or another multiple of 4 + 5 chain stitches. The length of your chain is circa 105 cm. (NOTE: this isn't the width of your shawl, but one of the hypotenuses of the triangle.)

1. With hooksize 4.0 (F): 3 dc in the 5th ch from the hook. *skip 3 chain stitches, sc in the next ch, ch 3, 3 dc in the same chain stitch as your last sc*. Repeat *-*. Finish your row by skipping 3 chain stitches and working a sc in the last chain stitch. Turn your work.
2. chain 3, sc around the 3 chain space near the cluster of dc's, * chain 3, 3 dc around the same ch-space in which you've crocheted your last sc, sc in the next 3ch-space.*. Repeat *-*. The final sc of the row is crocheted around the 4 starting chains of the last row.
3. ch 4, 3 dc in the first ch of these 4 starting chains, * sc in the next 3ch-space, ch 3, 3 dc around the same ch-space*. End the row with a sc in the next ch-space.

Keep repeating row 2 and 3 until only 1 cluster of 3 dc is left. Work a final row with a cluster of 3 dc (see also the crochet chart: you'll end with 2 times a row with 1 cluster of 3 dc).

COLOR CHANGES: row 1 - 3 are made in pink. Row 4 is ochre. * Then 5 rows in pink, 1 in ochre *. Repeat *-*

BORDER:

Attach the red/brown yarn on a random space of the long side of the shawl.

Row 1

Straight side: 2 sc around each ch-space and 1 sc in every sc. On the corner 3 sc.

First hypotenuse: 2 sc in the skipped chains of your starting chain and 1 sc in the chain in wich you'll see a cluster of 3 dc. 3 sc on the corner.

Second hypotenuse: sc in the base of a cluster of 3 dc and 2 sc around the starting chains of the rows. 3 sc on the corner.

Row 2

sc in every sc. On the corners: 3 sc in 1 sc. End the row by crocheting a slip stitch and fasten off.

Row 3

In this row you're going to make another row of the border in the hypotenuses only.

Attach the red/brown yarn again with a sc, but this time in the left upper corner of the shawl. *ch 3, 3 dc in last sc you've made, skip 3 sc, sc in the next sc*. Repeat *-*. In the corner: skip 3 times 1 sc in stead 3 sc. Finish the border of these 2 sides and fasten off.

Remake van een omslagdoek

Eén van de eerste gratis patronen die ik hier op mijn blog zette was die van een omslagdoek. Het (gratis) patroon vind je hier. Toen ik deze zomer bij een leuk handwerkwinkeltje in Dokkum Tahiti garen van Schachenmayr tegenkwam vond ik dit een mooie aanleiding om het patroon nogmaals te maken. En wat leuk om te zien hoe anders zo'n patroon weer uitpakt met een ander soort garen!

Het garen is overigens verkrijgbaar in veel kleurencombinaties. Ik gebruikte voor dit patroon drie bollen.

One of the first free patterns I shared on my blog was this shawl.
When I found very nice Tahiti yarn from Schachenmayr this summer, I decided to remake this pattern. It's nice to see that this yarn has a completely different effect!

This yarn is available in a lot of color combinations. I used 3 balls for this pattern.

Patroon Mandje haken met mooi kleurverloop / crochet basket with nice color effect

Tijdens een bezoek aan Loods 5 zag ik allemaal van die leuke gehaakte mandjes. Super leuk, maar als haakverslaafde kan ik natuurlijk niet zo'n mandje kopen ;-) Daarom ging ik fijn zelf aan de slag, met als bijkomend voordeel dat ik nu natuurlijk helemaal kon maken wat ik zelf wilde! Doordat ik dubbel garen heb gebruikt en bij de kleurwissels steeds maar 1 draad wissel krijg je dit leuke kleurverloop.

Het leek me leuk om het patroon te delen op mijn blog. Kunnen jullie ook je eigen hippe mandje maken. Helaas ben ik vergeten stap voor stap foto's te maken tijdens het haken (zoals ik altijd doe voor mijn kooppatronen), maar ik zal mijn best doen het zo duidelijk mogelijk te omschrijven ;-)

Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van 6 kleuren katoen van Catania en ByClaire 1. Het waren restjes garen, dus helaas heb ik de kleurnummers niet meer. Maar als je kiest voor kleuren die steeds dicht bij elkaar liggen, dan krijg je het mooie effect.

Haaknaald 4,0 mm.
Afmeting: circa 10 cm hoog en een diameter van circa 13,5 cm.

Start met een dubbele draad lichtgrijs (ik had maar één bol lichtgrijs, dus ik heb zowel het begin als het uiteinde van de bol gebruikt om te haken. Het uiteinde haal je uit het binnenste van de bol. Ik maak met beide handen de openingen aan beide kanten van de bol wat wijder en bekijk dan waar ik het makkelijkste een plukje garen uit de bol kan trekken. Meestal vind je in dit plukje garen het uiteinde wel). Start met 2 lossen

Toer 1:
8 vasten in de 2e losse vanaf de naald

Toer 2:
2 vasten in iedere vaste (16 steken). Haak in spiraalvorm en sluit dus niet iedere toer met een halve vaste. Gebruik een steekmarkeerder om de eerste steek van de toer aan te duiden.

Toer 3:
Haak 8 keer: * vaste in 1e vaste, 2 v in de tweede v * (24 steken).

Toer 4:
Haak 8 keer: * v in 1e en 2e v, 2 v in de derde v * ( 32 steken)

Toer 5:
v in 1e v, 2 v in de 2e v,  * v in de volgende 3 v, 2 v in de vierde v *. Herhaal *-* tot het einde van de toer waarbij je eindigt met 2 v. (40 steken)

Toer 6:
* v in de 1e vier v, 2 v in de vijfde v *. Herhaal *-* (48 steken)

Toer 7:
v in de eerste 2 v, 2 v in de 3e v, * v in de volgende 5 v, 2 v in de 6e v *
Herhaal *-* tot het einde van de toer waarbij je eindigt met 3 v. (56 steken)

Toer 8:
* v in de 1e 6 v, 2 v in de 7e v *. Herhaal *-* (64 steken)

Toer 9:
v in de eerste 3 v, 2 v in de 4e v, * v in de volgende 7 v, 2 v in de 8e v *. Herhaal *-* tot het einde van de toer waarbij je eindigt met 4 v (72 steken)

Toer 10:
* v in de 1e 8 v, 2 v in de 9e v * Herhaal *-* (80 steken)

Toer 11:
v in de eerste 4 v, 2 v in de 5e v, * v in de volgende 9 v, 2 v in de 10e v *. Herhaal *-* waarbij je eindigt met 5 v. (88 steken)
Je bodem is nu af. Vanaf nu meerder je geen steken meer en houd je hetzelfde aantal steken.

Toer 12: Ga verder met de dubbele lichtgrijze draad: v in iedere v. Haak deze toer alleen in de achterste lus van de v.

Toer 13: Vanaf nu haak je weer in beide lussen van de steek. V in iedere v. Bij de laatste steek van de toer maak je de laatste doorhaling van de vaste met een lichtroze en een lichtgrijze draad. De andere lichtgrijze draad knip en hecht je af.

Toer 14: v in iedere v met grijs/lichtroze. De laatste doorhaling van de laatste v doe je met dubbel lichtroze draad. De lichtgrijze draad knip en hecht je af.

Toer 15: v in iedere v met dubbel licht roze De laatste doorhaling van de laatste v doe je met een draad lichtroze en ecru. Eén lichtroze draad knip en hecht je af.

Alle volgende toeren gaan net als toer 14 en 15. Hieronder zie je mijn kleurgebruik in deze toeren:

Toer 16: roze / ecru
Toer 17 t/m toer 20: dubbel ecru
Toer 21: ecru / lichtblauw
Toer 22: dubbel lichtblauw
Toer 23: lichtblauw / aquablauw
Toer 24 t/m 27: dubbel aquablauw

When I visited the Dutch store 'Loods 5' I saw lovely crocheted baskets. Of course I couldn't buy one, but I had to make one myself. I used two strands of yarn and when changing colors I only changed 1 strand. This way you'll get the nice coloreffect.

I thought it would be nice to share the pattern on my blog. This way you're able to make your own basket. Unfortunately I forgot to make step by step pictures (as I usually do for my patterns on Etsy and Ravelry), but I'll try to do my best to describe it as clear as possible ;-)

I used 6 colors of Catania and ByClaire 1 cotton. These were left-overs, so I don't know the colornumbers. But by choosing colors who lie next to each other on the color wheel you'll get this nice effect.

Hooksize 4.0 mm / G
Measurements: Height circa 10 cm / 4", diameter 13.5 cm / 5.4"

Start with two strands of light grey yarn (I only had one ball of light grey, so I used the beginning and the ending of the ball. The ending can be found in the center of the ball.) 

Start with 2 chain stitches

Row 1:
8 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook

Row 2:
2 sc in every sc (16 stitches). The basket is hooked in spirals, so don't join rows with a slip stitch. You could use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of a row.

Row 3:
8 times: * sc in first sc, 2 sc in second sc * (24 stitches)

Row 4:
8 times: * sc in 1st and 2nd sc, 2 sc in the 3rd sc * (32 stitches)

Row 5:
sc in the first sc, 2 sc in the 2nd sc, * sc in the next 3 sc, 2 sc in the 4th sc * Repeat *-* untill the end of the row in which you end with 2 sc (40 stitches)

Row 6:
* sc in the first 4 sc, 2 sc in the 5th sc *. Repeat *-* (48 stitches)

Row 7:
sc in the first 2 sc, 2 sc in the 3rd sc, * sc in the next 5 sc, 2 sc in the 6th sc *. Repeat *-* and end with 3 sc (56 stitches)

Row 8:
* sc in the first 6 sc, 2 sc in the 7th sc * Repeat *-* (64 stitches)

Row 9:
sc in the first 3 sc, 2 sc in the 4th sc, * sc in the next 7 sc, 2 sc in the 8th sc * Repeat *-* and end with 4 sc (72 stitches)

Row 10:
* sc in the first 8 sc, 2 sc in the 9th sc * Repeat *-* (80 stitches)

Row 11:
sc in the first 4 sc, 2 sc in the 5th sc, * sc in the next 9 sc, 2 sc in the 10th sc *. Repeat *-* and end with 5 sc (88 stitches). The bottom of the basket has been finished. From now on you don't have to increase stitches anymore. You'll keep 88 stitches in every row.

Row 12: Go on with 2 strands of light grey yarn: sc in every sc in the back loop of the stitch only!

Row 13: sc in every sc in both loops. When you've reached the last stitch of the row, insert the hook in this last stitch  in the previous row, yarn over, hook the yarn and draw the yarn through the stitch, take up the new color (one strand of light pink and one strand of light grey), yarn over, hook it and draw the new colors through the two loops on the hook. Cut off one of the light grey strands and weave in.  

Row 14: sc in every sc with light grey / light pink. Make a colorchange in the last stitch of the row as descriped above so you'll get 2 strands of light pink yarn. Cut off the light grey yarn and weave in.

Row 15:
sc in every sc with 2 strands of light pink. Make a colorchange in the last stitch so you'll get one strand ecru and one strand light pink. Cut off one pink strand and weave in.

Make every following row as row 14 and 15. Use these color in the following rows:

Row 16: pink / ecru
Row 17 - 20: double ecru
Row 21: ecru / light blue
Row 22: double light blue
Row 23: light blue / aqua blue
Row 24 - 27: double aquablue
Row 28: aquablue / seegreen
Row 29: seegreen
